Compass Group is a cutting-edge commercial construction group in Northeast Florida. It began the Courtyard by Marriott and Springhill Suites by Marriott project at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic when labor shortages, supply chain issues, and overall delays were at an all-time high. The construction group aimed to complete the project on time and within budget by keeping its workers employed and persevering through pandemic difficulties with strategic planning and unique management methods to ensure completion.

 AMELIA ISLAND COMPANY | THE SHOPS AT AMELIA ISLAND PLANTATION

Amelia Island Company hired Compass Group to build the Shops at Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Florida. When Amelia Island Company asked Compass Group if they could finish this year-long project two months early to accommodate a special event, Compass Group delivered. 

We’re celebrating the official opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Amelia Island and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Amelia Island!

Both hotel chains operate under one roof, creating the first hotel of its kind on the island. The sister properties have 239 guest rooms in their four-story, 156,000-square-foot main building. Amenities include a pool and more than 6,000 square feet dedicated to a state-of-the-art meeting and event space.

HIHO LLC | HAMPTON INN NEW SMYRNA BEACH

HIHO LLC selected Compass Group to build the Hampton Inn New Smyrna Beach in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. When HIHO LLC needed help with local land permissions, Compass Group attended more than 28 public hearings to get the construction entitlements processed. Once approved, Compass Group was able to build a hotel that matched the local architecture and helped revitalize the area’s economy.

SUMMER BEACH DEVELOPMENT GROUP | THE VILLAS AT SUMMER BEACH

Summer Beach Development Group hired Compass Group to build the Villas at Summer Beach in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Compass Group leveraged its experience with Nassau county in protecting local plant life, while completing the job on time and budget. 100% of the condos sold before Compass Group finished construction.
