Summer Beach Development Group hired Compass Group to build the Villas at Summer Beach in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Compass Group leveraged its experience with Nassau county in protecting local plant life, while completing the job on time and budget. 100% of the condos sold before Compass Group finished construction.

The Challenge

Summer Beach Development Group, the developers of the Villas at Summer Beach condominiums, were looking for a construction company that knew the area and was experienced with the protection of its plant life. Compass Group’s Amelia Island office was less than 10 minutes from the construction site and are experts in the local Nassau County land development ordinances and construction requirements.

The Solution

Compass Group focused initially on tree and foliage protection. The buildings were designed to accommodate the native trees for the neighborhood to enjoy in their original soil. 

Next, Compass Group began building model homes for future owners to tour. Once the customers toured them and bought their own condos, Compass Group allowed owners to customize their new homes. They customized kitchen countertops, lighting fixtures, and paint colors just to name a few. Compass Group even aided the Villas in creating sales brochures to distribute to the prospective condo owners.
