Established in 1999, Compass Group, Inc is a design/build construction management and general contracting company located in Nassau County, FL. Primarily working with owners and investors to address land constraints and developing to suit. Our projects include all aspects of commercial development; industrial/manufacturing, hospitality, restaurants and churches. We work diligently with architects, engineers and the local community to preserve the nature that surrounds it.

Grayson Mathewson
CEO/President
President and CEO of Compass Group, Inc., brings over 16 years of experience in the construction industry. A Certified General Contractor in Florida and Georgia and a Licensed Electrical Contractor in Florida, Grayson leads with a commitment to integrity, excellence, and creativity in every project. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Management from Georgia Southern University and is dedicated to building environments that enhance the well-being of clients, teams, and communities.
Outside of work, Grayson enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife Lauren, their two children, Grayson Jr. and Mollie, and their bulldog, Rex.

Amy Shuster
Chief Financial Officer
Amy Shuster serves as Chief Financial Officer of Compass Group, Inc. She originally held the CFO position from 1999 to 2014 and rejoined the company in 2019. Amy brings extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, supporting Compass Group’s continued growth and stability.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Masters of Business Administration. Originally from the Buffalo, New York area, Amy has called Nassau County, Florida home since 1995. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her partner, Steve, and her family.
Tamra Krueger
Project Manager's Assistant
Tamra’s job at Compass Group is to keep the project managers’ daily tasks on track. She’s been on the team since 2019 and before that, she was a permitting specialist for an engineering firm.
Tamra holds a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Hesser Business College. When she’s not working in the office, you can find her outdoors camping, sailing, or going to the beach.
